Featured Bike of the Week

This week we have a special mountain bike featured on the blog. The Santa Cruz Blur LT Carbon is just what the name says, a ripping mountain bike made entirely of super-light carbon fibre, with some serious components to boot. The new Blur LT Carbon is one of Santa Cruz's strongest frames to date, and happens to weigh a full pound less than its aluminum predecessor while still featuring the same VPP (Virtual Pivot Point) design that has made the Blur XC and Nomad such flying successes within the Santa Cruz lineup. Not only do the technology and design make this bike a standout, but this is actually a longer-travel version of the ever-popular Blur XC, Santa Cruz's flagship cross-country bike. That's right, a 5.5'' travel, all-carbon mountain bike...how much more versatile can a bicycle get? As if that weren't enough, the Blur LT also comes with a full Shimano XTR kit, DT Swiss wheels, an Easton Carbon bar and stem, and a Thomson Masterpiece seatpost. But don't take our word for it, come by Hoback Sports today and check out this sweet machine for yourself!

^I'm not a doctor, but if the Blur LT doesn't look sleek to you, you may want to get your vision checked.

^Part of what makes the Blur LT pedal so smoothly is the VPP linkage system.

^A full XTR drivetrain keeps this baby's shifting at its peak, ride after ride.

^Chris King headset, Easton MonkeyLite SL handlebar, and Avid Elixir CR hydraulic disc brakes? Yes, please.
